Fall Décor Using Roses
by Michael Dattolico on Sep 15, 2021
The year 2021 is flashing before our eyes and it’s already rounding the corner into fall! Unfortunately, in south Florida, there isn’t much cooler weather or any change in foliage BUT there is still PSL and fall décor. Here we have the Floridan’s guide to faking fall but with a rosy spice:
- Use copper to complement warm colors
During fall, people naturally start choosing warm reds, yellows, and browns. Copper gives a great metallic complement to these colors and serve as an amazing color option for vases, cups, and silverware. Pair white or lightly color roses with copper to give your décor a fresh but still distinctly fall feel.
- Use single roses
Roses are usually sold and seen in the dozens; however, for fall décor it’s better to use them as accent pieces. Purchase individual faux or real roses to accent areas of your home. They go great with a fall themed door wreath or paired with warm china on the dining room table.
- Black roses
The obvious occasion to use these are during Halloween BUT why only use them for one day? Black roses are definitely a statement piece and should be display as such. If you are feeling bold enough, showcase a vase full of them as the centerpiece of your table.
