Loving Through Love Languages

Becoming close to someone and falling in love means learning and accepting the other person’s personality and quirks. The more you get to know that other person you begin to find out exactly what those are, and it might be as fundamental as how they express and receive love. Understanding each other’s love languages can greatly help partners understand each other in a relationship especially if their love languages differ. For example, if Person A who feels love through physical touch such as cuddles, hugs, and kisses is with Person B who is less touchy and expresses love through acts of service (ex. putting gas in the car, bringing them a glass of water, etc.), Person A might not feel as loved and tended to even though this is false since their partner just expresses love in a different way. However, by understand each other’s love languages, Person B can be more physical with Person A, and Person A can offer more acts of service to person B. It’s all about understanding each other and fulfilling each other’s needs as much as possible.
